Begin your day by meeting your guide in Pigadia (if you’ve arranged a transfer) or at our welcoming starting point in Pini Volada. In just ten minutes, we’ll reach the island’s highest village—Othos—where sweeping views of the Aegean Sea set the stage for adventure.
Our path winds from the tranquil east coast to the lush, vineyard-laced hills of Kallenes on the west, with the distant silhouette of Kasos island glimmering on the horizon. Along the way, we’ll pause in the peaceful mountain village of Stes for a relaxing tea break beneath the shade of the local church—perfect for catching your breath and soaking up authentic island life.
Afterward, we continue our scenic walk back to Othos, where a magical taverna awaits. Here, you’ll savor a traditional Karpathian lunch—fresh, local flavors served with a side of warm hospitality.
The walk takes about 3 hours at a comfortable pace, offering plenty of time to enjoy the wind in your hair and the island’s vibrant, green landscapes. Bring a windbreaker and your curiosity—Karpathos is ready to surprise you at every turn!
