Kasos Experience

Do you want to explore the neighbouring island of Karpathos? We offer a day trip to Kasos, located West of Karpathos. The island is still unexplored and has retained its true Greek style. Here you will find a proud history that goes back to the Trojan War, pirates and the Iliad from Homer.

Join on a 1,5 hour boat trip to the island and let’s experience the island together. Walk through the villages where myths and legends were born. Enjoy the local food and take a dip in the crystal clear water. It’s a day you’ll never forget!

Meet our representative at the end of the port of Pigadia at 9:15 am. The trip takes about 10 hours in total, including the yacht boat trip to and from Kasos (1 hour and 30 minutes per trip). Upon arrival to Kasos you’ll meet your local guide and you can start with a coffee before walking to the village of Panagia with the 6 churches and Kassiani’s grave. This is followed by a walk to the village of Fry and the harbor of Bouka. After the walk have a lunch at Fry with traditional food and ingredients from Kasos (drinks excluded). This walk is about 3 km at a leisurely pace with good photo opportunities where nature has taken over in some places. The walk takes about 1,5 hours.

Those who want to spend time on the beach can do so after our lunch or you can choose to join on a second hike to the church of Agios Ioannis with a fantastic viewpoint. This hike is 6 km long and has a height difference of + 70m and takes about 2 hours.

Before taking the boat back to Karpathos, there is time for a cold drink, coffee, or for a souvenir purchase in one of the few souvenir shops on the island.

Important to know is to bring enough water with you, a hat that protects you from the sun, sunglasses and sunblock. Sneakers are no problem or other shoes you find comfortable. As there is time for a swim in the sea, it is good to bring your swimming clothes and a towel.

Please note that Kasos is known for its hot summer days. The tour does not offer much shade and it can be extremely hot!

* Please note that at the end of the season, the yacht Kasos Princess leaves Kasos an hour earlier due to it getting dark earlier. This mean that from April until mid May and from mid September till the end of October the second walk is not being offered.
