Mesochori Walk

The walk starts in Mesochori, just above Lefkos. We walk down some stairs to get to the heart of the village and reach the church named Panagia Vrysiani after the natural spring located just below it. The path leads us from here through lush green surroundings full of fruits. Passing the local graveyard we reach the gravel road that leads us to a little blue and white church. A great spot for our first break to enjoy some coffee or tea.

The sea is on our right as we continue. You can spot birds like falcons and eagles gliding above the water and above the forest we are heading to. After a while we reach the trail that takes us to Lefkos but instead of going to the south we will return to Mesochori.

We will need to climb quite a few stairs to reach the main street or Mesochori again. Once you notice how many elderly locals are doing this on a daily base for sure that you will find the motivation.
