Three villages walk

Meet your guide at the bus station in Pigadia at 6:45am. We take the bus up to Othos at 7:00am. After about 20 minutes we reach the highest village on Karpathos (Othos) where our walk starts. From Othos we will walk up to a fantastic viewpoint where you can look out over the Aegean Sea, but first we stop at a local wood workshop.

We make our way from the east coast to the west coast where we reach the green vineyards of Kallenes and Stes. We can also see neighbouring island Kasos on the horizon. After a tea break in the shade of a church, we continue towards the mountain village of Pyles.

In Pyles we can visit one of the local cafés where we can enjoy a drink (if café is open) while waiting for the local bus to take us back to Pigadia. We reach Pigadia again around 13:00.

Be prepared for the wind and a fantastic green and fertile landscape.
