Valley Walk Audio Guide

Start this audio guided walk at the AutoTour car rental office at the main street of Pigadia.

Start walking outside of the city of Pigadia, following the goat-paths and olive fields. You walk passed abandoned houses reminding you of a different time and stroll through the fields with many flowers in the springtime and high grass in the summer. The olive trees are offering some shade to take a sip of water and the sound of the goat-bells leads the way.

You reach a chapel below Menetes where you can take a break in the shade. Enter the chapel to see how the locals pray and listen to some history. Leaving the chapel you head into the sometimes slightly wet river bed. Hundreds of years old olive trees and fossilised shells await us at the end of the walk.
