Menetes-Arkassa walk

Meet your guide at the parking near the bus-station of Pigadia at 8am. We drive up to Menetes and start our Menetes-Arkassa Walk after a 20 minutes ride.

Behind Menetes we enter a lush green area, where old stavlos seem to pop up in every corner. The neighbouring island of Kasos is constantly in front of us as we walk from the higher part of the gorge-like area to Arkassa. We take a break along the way at a water source where you can fill up your water bottle and enjoy some shade.
After about 2,5 hours we reach Arkassa and there a comfy air-conditioned private van will be ready to bring us back to Pigadia.

Your guide stops frequently for photo opportunities and the walking pace is calm. This walk also contains slightly tougher parts.
